I know some of places will actually give you some $$ for used tires.  It won't be much, and it'll depend on the amount of tread left.

I haven't heard of that.  I guess I never tried to get any money out of my tires.  They always charge me a fee to taking care of the tires too.

There's a few places around here that will dispose of your tires for free if they have any amount of tread left on them.

How many miles are on that thing.  Since you bought it used as an 05 I'd bet it's around 40k.  And I'd also bet that that spark plugs haven't ever been changed.  Bad plugs eat up 1-2 mpg.

There's 53k miles on it.  No mention of the plugs ever being replaced.

They're probably not that bad but I would replace them.  Remember to use the cheapo copper ones, hemi's have been known to have problems with the expensive plugs.

I recently spend the extra $$ on the good plugs and already 2 of them are toast.  I don't know why that would be, but I guess replacing copper plugs a bit more often isn't that bad.

I have a buddy that had the same thing happen to him, it caused some weird knocking in his engine.  I think they were the fancy iridium plugs, I had the stealership replace mine a while back.  I assume that they put the cheapos in.  I guess it's pretty much a wash since although you should replace the plugs more often you pay less for the plugs.
