New chrysler chief talks

The story talks about his speed.  Apparently they're thinking of selling off Mopar and other parts of chrysler that aren't directly related to making the cars.  I know that GM did that with delphi and it was a bad deal for many workers.  I want to see chrysler back in the black as much as the next Mopar fan but I don't want people losing their jobs over it.

business is business.  If they can't get chrysler into the black and chrysler goes under a lot more people than just mopar workers lose their jobs.  Some things have to be done for the better of the many.

But doesn't it show weak leadership when they have to cut jobs in order to make the business run smoother.  I want chrysler to be around for a long time as much as any of you guys but people shouldnt have to lose their jobs that they devoted to chrysler for that to happen

The current leadership have nothing to do with the leadership that DC provided.  I'd rather they cut jobs than quality or something else that would have long term negative effects.
