I'm going to be in the market for a bed liner soon and was wondering what everyone thought.  Spray in?  There's a mopar one that's all carpet like.  I do a fair amount of hauling random junk around so it would have to be durable.

A spray in definately.  They're all pretty much the same, as long as the person putting it in knows what they're doing it should last the life of the truck.

Rhino is softer and can actually chip off easily.  Linex is rougher and more durable, though it'll scratch up anything you put in the bed.

I've got friends with rhino liners and they haul everything you could think of without issue.  Liner is still as good as the day you got it.

I guess everyones experience will be different.  I have a friend that went with rhino because the dealer was closer (they both were $500) and has had it chip and peel off in a few spots.  Luckily the dealer that installed it gave him a lifetime warranty and has resprayed those spots so it looks as good as new.

You could just get a bed rug that goes on the floor of the bed and that's it.  It's a rubber thing that would protect the bottom of the bed and as long as you took it out and sprayed the bed out every few months you wouldn't get any rust or permanent damage.

If you go with spray in you'll end up liking it so much that you'll get other parts of your truck sprayed.  I've seen a few trucks that have their rocker panels sprayed, looks sharp and you know it'll last.

I've thought about doing that on my charger because it would be different and very durable.  But I think it would also look a bit too much like I'm trying to be macho with my car when it's a car, not a truck.

Def would be over the top.  Spray in bed liners don't belong on fast cars.

Unless the truck is black over the rail spray in bedliners look kinda dumb unless you go for black as the main secondary color.  Since most people use chrome as their main secondary color I think it looks kinda terrible.  He should just get a bed rug for now and save his money, spray in liners cost a lot.

Naw, the black over the rails doesn't look bad at all.  You can have 2 secondary colors, there's too much body to just have one.  Plus the door handles are black, but the badges are chrome.  People that put chrome everywhere on their vehicles look ridiculous too.

I have chrome by default because my bumpers and wheels are chrome and black as a secondary color.  I agree that you can't have too much chrome before it looks like you're trying too hard.

You don't have to have chrome as a secondary color, just get painted bumpers and black wheels (or paint them too).  All these modifications for looks are just that, looks, they don't make the truck any faster...
