Toyota is starting to run incentives on their line up.  It'll be interesting to see if this impacts their (and everyone else's) sales.

If anything I feel that this goes to show that the tundra was a fad for a couple months.  The sales on the tundra are probably slipping this month and they need something to keep the incentive up.

I haven't seen a tundra on the road in a while.  I haven't seen a commercial for the tundra in a while either.  Come to think of it, I havent seen a titan on the road in a while either.  I think these foreign trucks are kind of fad vehicles that only survive owners that don't need them as trucks.

Nissan canceled their heavy duty truck as well.  I don't think these japanese guys know how to make a well built and reliable truck for people that actually need to use their truck.

Competition is a good thing.  I just want the new dodge line up sooner than next fall so I can say more about the tundra than just looks.  It looks terrible, but on paper at least it's a better truck.  We'll see how it does in the long run.

According to some sites the tundra incentives now average around 5k.  thats as much or more than the ram.  I guess toyota is seeing that its hard to get into the truck market, especially with an ugly truck

Those imports make for good little cars, but it'll be a while before they can compete with us in the off road market.
