Hey everyone, curt here.  I'm pretty good friends with Nick (speedinstyle).  He told me about this site so here I am.  I've learned a lot from reading it for the last couple days.

It's the cvt with the 1.8L engine.  The combo works pretty good.  I bought it about 2 months ago.  So far with 3k on the odometer I'm getting 29 mpg with the air on.

isn't yer car lower to the ground giving it better aerodynamics?  The tranny isn't the only thing that gets you better mileage.  The cvt might not keep the engine at peak rpms 100% of the time but I bet it does 95% of the time while our regular geared autos only keep it at peak rpms 92% of the time (as an example).  This may not seem like a big boost in mileage but if you sell 20k cars that 3% boost means a lot overall.
