Well the general grabbers live up to their name alright.  I was driving through a recently harvested corn field the other day (I was helping a friend inspect their field for holes or something) and the truck went through it like it was nothing.  I doubt that i would've need 4x4 on to get through all the muck with these tires.  So far I'm impressed with em.

Nice, I've seen those on tirerack.  They have a really aggressive tread on them, I'd expect them to be a good tire for going through snow or mud.

Glad to hear it.  Good to know that some tires will work well and don't cost a fortune.

How the hemi are you?

There are plenty of makes of tire that don't cost a fortune and work as good or better than the 'name brand' tires.  I figure those companies just have a bad marketing team so they have to sell for cheaper.  I also figure that means there's a lot of mark up on tires.

Good to hear that you're happy with your tires.  I know that was a sticking point for you.  I hope you're happier with you're truck now.

I've just added another brand of tire to my list for when I need to replace my current set.  Thanks for the feedback.

Much happier.  I guess I was going through some buyers remorse because I felt like I had made a hastey purchase.  Other than mileage this truck has performed better than I could have hoped.  Very solid truck and a good purchase.  Thanks for the help.

I'm glad you found what you were looking for.  You can get some more mpg out of it by adding a power wire and a scoop as well as a CAI and exhaust.  You could probably get all that done with just under 700$ and get 3-5 mpg more.  It might pay for itself if you drive a lot.
