It appears that chrysler is going to stop making the compass (along with some other models that don't sell well).  I can't figure out why the compass doesn't sell well but the caliber does.  They're the same vehicle with the same price essentially.  Shouldn't the sales be split between the two?

The compass is selling better overseas than it is here, but it's not really a traditional jeep.  It doesn't look that good either.

Just about everything other than the wrangler in the jeep line isn't really a traditional jeep.  They're not really anymore capable offroad than any other 4x4 vehicle.  The compass is probably the least capable of these but it seems silly to just come out with a vehicle and then discontinue it after a couple years.
