Wow, I wonder what kind of mileage they get in that thing.  It's hard to tell but I bet it's at least mid 20s.

It's hard to tell.  Some mods really boost HP and mileage, others boost HP and kill mileage.

Forget mpg, I want to know how many more miles that engine will last putting out that kind of power.

The cummins will crank out that much hp without much fuss.  As long as he's not doing that on every take off his engine would last at least as long as any V6/V8 out there.

what a waste.  Spend some energy going 50 mpg not 0-50 in 4 seconds and then I'll be impressed.  At least they did raise the mileage a bit on that giant hunk of metal.

endeavors like this often lead to break throughs in mpg gains for aftermarket parts, quit being a negative nelly.

Maybe you should just stay out of threads where we talk about performance, spend some time being positive, take a prozac, something.  You can always start you're own threads about how dumb it is for people to do anything but drive the right vehicle for the job or how we should all try to get better mileage.

x2 although if he didn't disagree with us then who would we argue with?

That's true, we need someone with a different view point than ours to make this interesting.
