I thought that the Aspen only had two bucket seats in the middle.

I'm almost certain that I've seen a few at the dealerships with bench seats back there. Buckets are probably an option that every dealer gets.

The Durango and aspen are almost identical, it's easy to think that either would have the option of bench or bucket seats.

I've never seen the Durango with buckets. The aspen is more of a high end durango, not quite the twins everyone says they are.

I've seen a D with buckets, though it could have been modified by the dealer to get it sold. There was some other stuff on it that isn't factory.

Who cares if it has buckets, they're almost the same vehicle (though the Durango looks better imo). I'm just glad that chrysler isn't being left in the dust as far as tech is concerned.

chrysler's partnership with gm is what's keeping them afloat right now. They need stuff like this to pan out but they also need to do some stuff on their own. GM has that fuel cell thing going on, if chrysler isn't in on that market or have one of their own going then they're going to have problems again in 10 years.

on the bright side chrysler doesn't have far down to go before they hit bottom. We just need the new management to be smarter than ze germans.

Now they just need to put this in the grand cherokee and the charger/challenger/300 and we'll be on our way to some pretty good mileage vehicles.

CAFE standards seem to be a bit too high this time around. I'm all for lower emissions, but they make it hard to meet mileage standards with all the emissions crap on vehicles. We lost 30% of our mileage with catalytic converters, I'd say that's a wash in terms of pollutants and now we have expensive platinum pieces of junk on our vehicles that can break, dumb.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! My hubby has been trying to convince me that the Aspen is a great vehicle and now I just might be inclined to believe him. Heck- I'd go for the Durango too for that matter. How awesome is it that you could drive a real SUV, feel safe when you are driving, tow whatever, and also be able to tell all your hippy relatives- no, no, no... it's a HYBRID! Woot!
