Hah, looks like the cows got a bit excited about the new truck also.  Those things look nice inside and out.  I hope this is what's to come from chrysler in the next few years.

The whole cattle drive thing seemed a bit overhyped.  If you imagined what it should've looked like vs what it was it's pretty funny.  But then again there's no way to safely drive a bunch of cattle down the road at running speeds with the trucks right there with them.

That was the first thing I thought of too.  One of the autoblogs made fun of it, they said the only way that this would be exciting is if one of the cows got away and went into the stands that were painted red.

I remember the year that chrysler drove a wrangler through the window, that was actually cool.  This kinda paled in comparison, but the new truck looks great.

Their known for having a spectacle at Detroit when they introduce something new.  It's a pretty good way to get the reporters talking about the new Ram instead of the new F 150

Yeah, a lot of reporters this year were reporting about how cold it was and how underimpressed they were by the 'cattle drive' but as the saying goes, there's no such thing as bad press.  The articles written about the new Ram are longer than the f150 because of this and I think the spectacle served it's point.

I like it, the truck looks good.  At least chrysler tries something different rather than the boring old crap that all the companies dish out.

I was thinking that too.  The whole deal kinda flopped in terms of excitement but at least it's different than just lifting off the cover while it's on a pedastal inside.

Not bad, but not as good as the unveiling of the new wrangler.

That was classic, someone could've actually been hurt by the glass breaking.  The cows I suppose could've gone crazy but they had too many ranchers there to let it get out of control.

Looking good.  I actually enjoyed all the tongue in cheek references to breaking away from the herd.
