Dodge announced pricing today for the all-new 2009 Dodge Challenger. The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) will start at $21,995, which includes $675 for destination. Dodge dealers across the country are now taking orders for the 2009 Dodge Challenger, which will arrive this fall.

“The all-new 2009 Dodge Challenger gives customers a modern-day muscle machine at an incredible value,” said Mike Accavitti, Director – Dodge Brand and SRT Global Marketing, Chrysler LLC. “For less than $22,000, we’ve brought Dodge Challenger back and loaded it with head-snapping styling and cutting-edge technology.”

The Dodge Challenger is the first five-passenger two-door coupe produced from the Company’s proven rear-wheel-drive platform that delivers the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300. Developed with Dodge’s credo of “bold, powerful and capable,” the 2009 Dodge Challenger is available in three models featuring head-turning styling, three available engine options and an automatic or manual transmission.

22k for the v6 is a pretty good price.  This means that a 1 year old hemi should sell for around 20k, maybe I can get one sooner than I thought.

That's pretty cheap, it'll cost the same as a charger used.  Good, I might just be able to afford one Cool

Awesome, that is cheap.  That puts the low end version on par with the middle version of the avenger and since it's a classic car and a bigger vehicle that sounds a bout right.  It'll bring a lot of customers to the lot anyways.

that's for sure.  I was hoping to be able to afford a used v6 but with these prices I might be able to afford a used v8.

Those prices aren't bad but that's still the same amount of cash (more I think) than a truck.  Why spend all that money and get that much less vehicle?

I see used V8 chargers going for 18k in my area, and that's with 30k miles on em - less sometimes.  No one wants the big V8 right now because of mileage but it doesn't do that much worse than the v6 because of the cylinder shutdown and it would smoke most of the cars on the road right now.

The interior is usually a lot nicer not to mention many of the extra performance mods straight from the factory for that price.  A V6 ram might be cheaper but it'll not have as nice a ride, as nice an interior, and doesn't look as good Cool
