I always save it for the track.  I only get to the track a couple times a year, but that's enough for me.  I don't need to show to people that I'm the fastest off the line.  I do like knowing that I can move my car when I need to though, it's been helpful to get me out of different situations.

I tried to race someone once but they took off flying while I sat there in a cloud of burned rubber LOL.  My truck is very sensitive to the throttle, I almost would prefer it toned back a bit.

I'm raising my rates.  I have no choice, I don't want to charge people more but I have to in order to stay out of the red...  I hope the prices come down more, when gas was 3$ I could deal with it, but at 4$ it's hard.  I'm glad it's come down like 40 cents the past couple of weeks.

I've had to cut back a lot on hitting the trails.  It's a shame too since I love being out there.  I've made due though with just biking to a nearby park, but it's still not as fun.

rant:

Everyone around me seems to be doing something to cut back on either their leisure time or some of the necessities at home.  I'm all for getting us out from under the thumb of the middle east oil countries, but I hate that our standard of living has to suffer because of it.  I suppose though the hippy douchebags that won't let us drill for more oil or build coal/nuclear power plants are already poor as dirt so what do they care if they negatively affect the lives of millions of others...

rant off.

I agree completely.  I think we should be investing a ton of money into solar/wind power but also build some coal nuclear.  We should invest a lot into electric cars but also start more drilling.  I think I'm going to try out an electric fan, but first I have to save up the cash to do so.  I've been pinching pennies everywhere I go so that I can afford one.  I'm half way there and I think it'll be another couple months before I'm completely done...
