09 Hood Scoop from Mopar

Either this picture is a fake or it looks like the new defacto 'this is our badass hood look' is going to be the same look that's on the challenger hood.  I wouldn't be surprised to see the charger remake and have this same hood on the srt model at least.

I hope the new D looks as tough as the 09 Ram and gets this scoop as an option.  That would look sick.

The new D might not exist with the way suv sales are going.  Who knows that chrysler is going to do.  Trucks will be around forever, but people might go back to station wagons.  If they do revamp the durango making it look like the new Ram would be the only option since they're going to discontinue the dakota.

My question is will it actually help cool the engine to increase mpg a bit or will it create some kind of aerodynamic drag and kill mpg.  People won't be buying these things just on looks anymore, they'll have to provide a function.

That's a good looking truck, it could use the srt hood stripes from the new challengers though
