Why not just make it a grand cherokee. I know that there are still differences, but as soon as you put 4 doors on the wrangler you take away the appeal. Why not use the same wheel base and bring back the classic jeep truck.

It's jeeps way of keeping the rugged jeep appeal and putting it into a practical family vehicle (as practical as a vehicle with doors that you can remove is). It'll sell more jeeps overall but kinda bastardizes the original and the idea.
