Lookin good. I didn't even realize that they tested out the new cab with all sorts of box combos. I guess that gives general contractors some piece of mind.

x2 I'm pretty amazed that they put the different configurations on the box for testing. I'm glad they do though, it makes me feel that much more comfortable with all the chrysler products that I might buy.

You can't just drive around with a cab and no box, that would be unsafe and a terrible test of the utility of the vehicle. Dodge trucks are known for being reliable, this is just one of the ways that they keep them reliable.

Of course they test the chassis cab with all kinds of configurations. No self respecting truck company would sell a chassis cab w/o testing the most common bed attachments. I wouldn't be surprised to see a tow truck version towing a car and a dumper on the road for testing too.

You better believe that when someone puts down 35k for a truck and another 6-7k for a bed on that truck that they expect it to work 99% of the time. If dodge didn't test these configurations then they'd be in a heap of brand diminishing quality trouble.

I just assumed that this kind of testing always went on. The chassis cab from Dodge looks like the best work truck on the road and with the ctd in it I think it's the most reliable. It's an easy choice if I need a work truck.

That's a good looking truck. I think the current ram with box deletes are the best looking on the road. I don't really care for the box delete but I understand it's necessary for some people. I would just rather put a tool box in the bed of the truck than a whole different box on the back of the truck.

Same here, Cummins wouldn't let Dodge put one of their engines in the Ram if the Ram were not tested thoroughly. That includes different boxes on a chassis cab.

I wonder how many sales dodge would lose if chrysler decided to put a different brand diesel in their pick up.

Are they going to test any 4 door versions? I only see 2 doors on the cab in each picture. It might not be that important to test both but I think there's enough difference that you'd want to.

Seems like that would be a waste of time and resources. I haven't seen many guys with work trucks and a back seat. Better to save the time and energy and resources for something that matters.
