According to Autoblog there won't be a convertible challenger.

And that would be with just a simple manual soft-top, not one of them there new-fangled retractable hardtops that are the top du jour for convertible buyers.

There's also the issue of cost and the fact that Dodge's market analysis seems to indicate there isn't a huge market for them.

I figured that cutting the top off would reduce weight.  The more you know...

I think it looks pretty horrible in that picture anyways.  Usually the car looks at least as good when you cut the top off but not so much with the challenger.

I can't believe how bad that looks.  I wouldn't have my wrangler in any other way than a convertible but that challenger just looks really really bad.

Real muscle cars are not convirtibles anyway.  No need to waste the time and energy required to make a challenger one.
