I'm getting close to 60k miles on my stratus and think it's about overdue for new tires.  What does everyone suggest?

tirerack.com has some of the best tools for getting new tires.  They just put up a new study about tread depth too, if yer below 4/32 in depth then I would get new tires.

Nittos are overpriced imo.  Firestone, despite their recent history have been pretty good for my daily drivers.  I use bfgs on my jeep though.  Gotta have the aggressive tread for offroading Cool

After looking at tirerack I think the best tire for my buck would be the michelins.  Thanks for the input everyone.

I know a lot of people dog on goodyears, but for cars and wet roads they make some pretty good tires too.

My goodyears that came on my trucks stock 20s did great in the rain.  I literally drove it a day after getting it through sideways rain and didn't feel like I was going to lose grip at all.

But michelins have the best safety rating.  He's getting what he wants and it's supposedly the best, good choice imo
