So I've been watching the GM/Chrysler thing with some interest now.  I own a Jeep Liberty and love it.  This thing can go anywhere I ask it too.  Right now it seems like Chrysler is hurting big time for some money and might go under if GM doesn't buy it.  Now I read that the government isn't going to help out (why not? they bailed out the banks) with anything there.  If something doesn't happen soon Chrysler and Jeep will be gone and I won't be able to buy another Jeep when I want one...  What do you guys think?

Even if chrysler is sold piece by piece someone will pick up Jeep and keep it going.  Jeep is the darling of Chrysler and someone will keep it going so you don't really need to be worried.

You should have no concern jeepers.  Jeep is a legend in the auto industry.  It will outlive Chrysler and many other potential suitors.

Nothing happens with Jeep.  Of any brands that the american automakers have to offer Jeep has the best chance of coming out of this all shiny and new.

The Ram, Viper, charger/challenger are all icons.  The auto industry as a whole is an icon.  But jeep will be fine, might be foreign owned in the future, but it'll be fine.
