www.moparregister.com/articles/calc has a good tire size calculator that does either english or metric.  It also converts your speedometer so if you know your speedo is accurate with the current tire size it'll tell you what your speedo will be with the new tire size.

Yeah, I could probably have an applet up and running rather quickly (that site uses an applet as well).  But it wouldn't be as fast and not everyone runs java.  That's a good idea though, I'll look into it.

Having one on the site might drive more traffic here as well.  I know that it's hard for me to figure out tire size when switching from english to metric.

You could include the gearing and rpm formulas for new tire sizes, and how far off your speedo would be after new tire size.

There's a link to the calculator that I made for calculating speedo difference as well as RPMs at 60 with different gearing ratios and tire heights.  www.moparregister.com/calc.php

The one in the first post doesn't work for me.  But the one you put up on this site does.  Good to know my speedo will be off by a couple mph if i go with the bigger tires that i was thinking of going with.

Squat, the calc is correct for my set up.  But how do you know what my RPMs are going to be.  Wouldn't it be different across different engines?
