Check out the bold look and powerful performance of Caliber

Caliber FEATURES

DESIGNED FOR EVERY ACTIVITY
Floor it. Caliber’s flat load floor features an UltraFloor™ panel. This precision molded
vinyl floor is both removable and washable. The rear seatbacks are covered with a
durable carpet, protecting them when they are in their most laid back position.
Properly secure all cargo.

CVT2 AND DUAL VVT. BECAUSE LIFE IS FULL OF VARIABLES.
Just because you can’t get excited about varying the working diameters of pulleys in a
transaxle doesn’t prevent the gearheads at the Chrysler Group from getting wildly
worked up. Why? Because the latest generation Continuously Variable Transaxle (CVT2)
in Caliber is the first ever offered in any of their vehicles. In the case of Caliber, the
benefits outweigh the historic significance. Caliber owners will appreciate the
advantages of a transmission’s continuously variable ratio in the form of improved
drivability, performance, NVH (that’s white shirt for Noise, Vibration and Harshness) and
about 8 percent better fuel economy.* EPA estimated 26 city/30 highway
mpg with 2.0-liter engine and CVT2.
*Combined EPA city/highway fuel economy of Caliber’s 2.0L engine with CVT2 (28 mpg) compared to Dodge’s
comparable four-speed automatic transaxle.

AVAILABLE ABS
State-of-the-art electronics allow Caliber’s available
antilock brake system (ABS) to provide faster response
times than previous systems. ABS, which is standard on
Caliber R/T and Caliber models equipped with the CVT2
(available on all models), helps prevent wheel-lock and
maintain directional control when braking on slippery
surfaces.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
When was the last time you had an electronically
controlled coupling? A first for any Chrysler Group
passenger car, Caliber R/T AWD hits the scene with an
electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system with
variable torque output. Without so much as a hint of
driver input, Caliber’s system seamlessly transfers power
to assist any wheel in need. In doing so, the AWD system
benefits both straight-line traction and cornering stability.

CALIBER CONVENIENCES

A. NEVER BIN BETTER. The available Chill ZoneTM
beverage storage bin features a contoured mat
to hold four cans, four 20-oz. bottles or any
combination of snacks and such. It maintains
already chilled items at about 45° Fahrenheit.

B. A BRIGHT IDEA. SERIOUSLY. This available
removable and rechargeable flashlight is
incorporated into the headliner of Caliber’s rear
cargo area. Its batteries are recharged when the
flashlight is returned to its cradle.

C. LIGHTED SOCKETS. There are two
electroluminescent cup holders between
Caliber’s front seats that emit a muted blue light
when lit.

D. THIS CRADLE WILL ROCK. Caliber’s center
console features an adjustable armrest that
slides forward and flips open to reveal a rubberlined
MP3 cradle. It was designed to hold MP3
players, cell phones, or PDAs, keeping them
within easy reach of the available 115-volt twopronged
outlet, a standard 12-volt power outlet
or the input jack on the face of the Caliber
stereo system’s head unit.

E. THE 2,966-POUND BOOMBOX. The
available MusicGate PowerTM 458-watt Boston
Acoustics® 9‑speaker sound system (including
a subwoofer built into the rear cargo area)
features speakers that swing down from the
rear liftgate when open.

F. PACKED WITH MORE THAN FEATURES. With
exceptional room and outstanding flexibility,
Caliber’s inventive interior can also handle
serious hauling..

Neato, I didn't know that the caliber came with fold down speakers in the tailgate.
