Thanks for all the replies in the other post.  I'm leaning toward a ram.  My question now is, what's the difference between a daytona and a regular ram?

You can see the outside differences pretty easily.  Daytona is the only ram right now that you can get the 'go man go' (orange) color (they also come in silver).  It comes with the spoiler and the bedside graphics.  The scoop on the hood is just for looks, it doesn't do anything.  And there is probably a specially colored dash with a number imprinted (only so many of them are made, this number tells you which one out of all of them it is).  As far as performance, the only differnce is a borla exhaust and there might be a cold air intake, but I don't remember.  Not much difference as far as performance goes.

I didn't even know they came in orange, the one by me is silver.  Since I didn't really care about the scoop or spoiler I might just look for a regular 'plain jane' dodge ram and save some money to customize it the way I want.  How much does that borla exhaust system cost?

The go man go is a fairly unique color:

The borla exhaust they have on the daytona is pretty simple.  I'd imagine you could find an exhaust shop near you that'll do it for $300.  I think your leaning in the right direction, the daytona has a hefty price tag on it.  You can get a lot of modding done before your ram costs the same.  If you do start looking my advice is to look for an '04 or newer hemi.  If you want mileage you can look for an '06 or newer that have the MDS which is said to net you 1-2 mpg.
